In a business environment that is changing rapidly, resting on their laurels is not an option for general counsel. As important as effectively managing the legal team’s everyday workload is keeping an eye on the road ahead. Can the team handle the new demands they might face? Are your current processes and technology going to put you in the best position to successfully deliver to the business in 10 years’ time?
To examine the issues, next week we are holding a roundtable forum for our In-house Advisory Board. It will focus on the question: How can you prepare for the legal department of the future?
The session will be led by Juan Crosby, a partner in PwC’s Technology & Sourcing legal practice. Juan is experienced in advising clients to help create the right mix of people, process and technology for the legal function to deliver an effective service. By sharing practical advice, the session aims to give not only an understanding of the issues, but also the tools general counsel need to plan ahead.
Don’t be left behind! We will be posting a full report from the forum with tips and invaluable advice on how to prepare and stay one step ahead of the game.
