Lexis®PSL R&I, in partnership with Stefan Ramel of Guildhall Chambers and the LexisNexis webinars team, are pleased to provide you with four short webcasts explaining some of the key changes under the Insolvency (England and Wales) Rules 2016 (IR 2016).
What are the IR 2016?
The IR 2016 came into force on 6 April 2017, replacing the Insolvency Rules 1986 (IR 1986).
The IR 2016 significantly affected some insolvency practices and procedures that had effectively remained unchanged since 1986.
In particular, the rules affect the position surrounding creditors, and meetings, and also affect some established procedures in the court.
The IR 2016 removed prescribed forms in their entirety.
