Rachel specialises in corporate tax law, and has experience as a practitioner and professional support lawyer. She trained as a solicitor at Linklaters LLP, and worked in the corporate tax department for three years after qualification. She has advised on corporate restructurings, M&A, investment funds and finance. In 2001, Rachel moved to Travers Smith LLP where she set up and ran the professional support function for the tax department. From 2009 she worked on a freelance basis before joining Lexis®PSL in July 2011.
Robbie is a paralegal on Lexis®PSL Tax and Lexis®PSL Share Incentives. He qualified as a solicitor in 2010 after a training contract at Addleshaw Goddard. Robbie graduated with a 2:1 honours degree from King’s College London and went on to obtain a commendation from BPP Law School in the Legal Practice Course. Robbie joined Lexis®PSL in 2013.
Sabina is a tax solicitor specialising in corporate and finance tax. Sabina trained and qualified at Linklaters LLP. She spent a year as a qualified lawyer in the corporate department, followed by six years in the corporate tax department where she advised on public and private M&A transactions, equity offerings and finance transactions.
Abigail trained at Slaughter and May, qualifying into the corporate tax department, where she remained until she joined Lexis®PSL. She has extensive experience of advising on corporate M&A transactions, acting for both buyer and seller in both public and private transactions; plain vanilla and structured financing; intra-group reorganisations; standalone tax advisory work and HMRC disputes. Abigail also sits as a fee-paid judge of the First-tier Tax Tribunal.
Sunaina trained as a solicitor at Linklaters LLP and qualified into the corporate tax department. After three years, Sunaina joined the tax team at SJ Berwin LLP where she ran the professional support function. Sunaina has experience of a full range of corporate and finance transactions, with a particular focus on tax-based structured finance and the tax treatment of private equity and venture capital. Sunaina joined Lexis®PSL in 2013.
Emma trained as a solicitor at Eversheds LLP and qualified into the corporate tax department. After 2 years she joined the tax team at Olswang. Whilst at Eversheds and Olswang Emma advised on a broad range of tax issues including those arising in connection with corporate acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures, real estate and commercial transactions. After 5 years at Olswang Emma joined the transaction tax team at EY as a stamp tax specialist where she remained until she joined Lexis®PSL in February 2016. Emma is a member of the STPG.
Aredhel trained at Squire Patton Boggs (formerly Hammonds), qualifying into the Tax Strategies & Benefits team in May 2007 where she remained until joining Lexis®PSL in January 2016. Aredhel has experience in a wide variety of taxation matters relating to employment, corporate finance, intellectual property, commercial, real estate and insolvency transactions as well as employee and executive remuneration and benefits issues. Aredhel is also a Chartered Tax Adviser.
Louise trained as a solicitor at Linklaters LLP and spent 10 years in the Linklaters tax department advising on a broad range of corporate and finance transactions, with a particular focus on structured finance, capital markets and mainstream corporate work. During her time there, Louise also spent one year as a professional support lawyer in the department’s knowhow function and over 6 months on secondment to group tax at Vodafone. Louise joined Lexis®PSL in September 2016.
